Job Responsibilities
- The principal objective of Field Service Manager is to achieve budgets for their Allocated Territory by generating opportunities both from existing & new accounts.
- Identify and build relationships with clients within the territory, especially those clients who meet the company’s preferred client criteria.
- Meet FaceTime targets as agreed for the Territory by visits, phone calls and direct mail, to both new prospects and existing customers.
- This requires the Field Service Manager to
- maintain list of accounts (existing & potential) which have decision making within their territory.
- use prescribed tools & processes to improve and increase FaceTime.
- work on creating opportunity pipelines in excess of the territory budgets/ hit rates.
- Work closely together with sales colleagues and related functions in order to maximize sales potentials and help meet the total organisation’s business goals.
- Contact customers and handle customer inquiries and customer problems.
What they are looking for
- Are you a sales-driven Field Service Manager within Logistics Service Provider space?
- Educated with a University degree or equivalent with a minimum 4 years’ experience with documented sales record.
- Sales experience and working knowledge of the international transportation and logistics industry.
- Familiarity with the financial aspects of the relevant local economy as well as international market conditions and trends, and international business issues, including currency factors and cultural differences.
- Basic sales techniques and negotiation skills.
- Presentation techniques, comfortable with meeting and presenting to groups 2-3 people.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Occasionally business travels.
