Job Responsibilities
- Actively liaising with customers and freight forwarders regarding shipping status and deliveries.
- Collection and management of shipping documents from the Bank.
- Timely issuance of Invoices and DOs for ex stock deliveries and overseeing the accuracy of stock adjustment entries – accurate follow up of order receipt, inventory picking, updating and tracking inventory.
- Month end stock reconciliation.
- Co-ordinating movement of goods to point of delivery.
- Verification of charges / invoices received from logistics/storage providers and the generation of payment vouchers to cover same.
- Generation of Debit Notes to customers covering charges for logistics services and storage as applicable.
- Verification of Import Permit (GST) charges and the generation of payment vouchers to cover same.
What they are looking for
- Educated to a Diploma / Degree or equivalent with a minimum 4 to 5 years of Logistics experience.
- Prior experience with Bill of Lading and Letter of Credit is an added advantage.
- Food manufacturing industry background is an added advantage as well.
- Good Knowledge of Shipping documents and process.
