About the Company
Our client is a global provider of transport and logistics solutions. They are looking for a Project Executive to join their team in Singapore due to expansion.

Job Responsibilities

  • The Project Executive will be working at Client’s premises as Implants to support the Logistics and Shipping functions.

  • Shipment Forecast and Planning based on materials expediting report.

  • Coordinate with Client’s suppliers on cargo collection and source for suitable sailing for the shipment.

  • Follow up with Overseas Offices for Freight Rates and Bookings and Shipment Status.

  • Activation of shipments and preparation of relevant shipping documents and assigning of UDR.

  • Preparation of Import and Export Permits for Customs Declarations.

  • Monitor shipment status on daily basis and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.

  • Attend Client’s shipment status meeting and provide shipment updates.

  • Preparation of Invoices in a timely manner to bill to Client.

  • Sourcing for ad hoc/alternative quotes to improve Profit Margin.

  • Preparation of quotation to Client.

  • Coordinate with Local and Overseas office for tender’s preparations and submissions.

  • Update System Entries in SAP and other software and perform Data Analytics.

  • To track the KPIs and ensure constant improvement.

  • To prepare reports as per Client’s requirement.

  • Preparation of internal Project Costs and Profit and Loss per shipment and monthly report.

  • Constantly questioning status quo and always seeking new avenues of improving process.

  • Ensure that all Suppliers/Contractors engage to perform jobs are in the Approved Vendor List and to work with HSSE on the approval process.

  • Any other work-related duties or special tasks assigned by Superior.

What they are looking for

  • Are you a Project Executive within freight forwarding or logistics industry?

  • Educated with a Diploma / University degree or equivalent with a minimum 4 years’ experience with shipping / logistics background.

  • Prior exposure to project cargos within Oil & Gas / Energy industry added advantage.

  • Experience in Project Management and Operation is an added advantage.

  • Good team player and able to work well with team members.

  • Traveling both locally and overseas may be required.

  • After office hours coordination may be required with Europe / US clients due to different time zones.

  • SAP knowledge an added advantage.
