About the Company
Our client is a global Air Freight Forwarding company. They are looking for a Regional Account Manager to join their Regional team in Singapore.
VP, South Asia
The Regional Account Manager will be the point of contact for network development. You will be working with a team of air leaders in each country regulating Global Air strategy, delivering exceptional service to the network and customers while maintaining relations with the airlines.
Study market competitors, carriers, manufacturers, market trends, fluctuations and changes.
Develop, grow & capture market share among existing and targeted accounts in Company’s network.
Effectively interact with their network to support overall development, work with local sales teams in achieving targeted growth for each entity.
Establish a referencing strategy for regional or international accounts.
Develop relationships with prospective key accounts and global partners to promote the Company’s network and obtain the opportunity to participate for future tenders.
Lead and participate in tender process (RFP/RFI/RFQ) with global offices and partners.
Determine tariff policy with Regional office.
Participate in negotiations with airlines.
Extensive communication with global partners and offices.
Monitor customer account profitability.
Set up relevant SOPs for key accounts.
Consolidate statistical elements from various operations for reporting purposes.
Report sales actions undertaken to further develop key customer accounts.
Update weekly activities and monthly reports for key accounts.
What they are looking for
Are you a driven and ambitious customer-centric Regional Account Manager or a natural Networker within the freight forwarding industry?
Educated with a University degree or equivalent with a minimum 5 years’ experience with proven track record.
Sales experience and working knowledge of the freight forwarding industry.
Familiar with the international market conditions and trends within the freight forwarding industry.
Prior experience within Air Freight will be highly preferred.
Exceptional business development, relationship management & communication skills.
Good sales and analytical skills.
Possess a car with class 3 driving license will be an added advantage.
Able to communication in Mandarin to liaise with China-based customers.
