Our client is a global Specialty Chemical Manufacturer, with offices in Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and America. They are looking for a Regional Logistics Manager, Asia Pacific to be based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities
- To lead plan, manage, and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies, and customers.
- Create and implement best practices related to logistics principles, policies, and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance.
- Partner with the region’s entities to drive cost optimization through effective and efficient logistics initiatives; recommend optimal transport modes, routes, or frequency.
- Interpret trends and analyze and review data via effective data analytics.
- Work closely with the global logistics team and with the senior leadership team to support and drive the global logistics actively.
What they are looking for
- Educated with a Degree / Masters in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics, preferably within the Chemical industry.
- Experience in handling dangerous goods.
- Strong regional logistics experience is a must; additional experience in direct procurement will be ideal but not necessary.
- Strategic, analytical, and sound financial acumen with the ability to optimize data analytics to interpret information & translate it into business strategies to achieve effective cost management.
- Good project management skills, result-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
