Our client is a renowned leader within the Oil & Gas, Energy Manufacturing industry. They are looking for a Regional Business Development Manager, SEA to join their expanding Business Development team in Singapore.
Regional Business Development Manager, SEA
The Regional Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share within a specific geographic area by identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities and client relationships. This role requires a blend of sales, marketing, and relationship management skills, as well as a deep understanding of the Oil and Gas, Oilfield Services and Energy market.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats within the region's Oil and Gas sector.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to capitalize on market dynamics and achieve company objectives.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements within the Oil and Gas sector.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients, projects, and partnerships.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through various channels, including networking, lead generation, and targeted outreach.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, including oil majors, commercial operators, and industrial clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Sales Process Management:
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and needs assessment to contract negotiation and closure.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to potential clients.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management, providing insights into market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as product management, engineering, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development strategies.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, business).
- At least 5 years of proven experience in Sales and Business Development within the Oil and Gas, Oilfield Service, Energy industry, FPSO, subsea sector with a strong understanding of the industry's specific challenges and opportunities.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel as required by the role.
